I feel that the area of alternative energy will becoming increasingly profitable in the coming months. With the price of Oil starting to move upward again, people will be looking for cheaper alternatives for powering their vehicles.

I totally agree with you. Franchising has been the ongoing trend since few years ago. Now, franchise fees are more affordable to the public compared to fees in the past years. I’m talking to a food business franchise and not the home based one (is there really home based franchise?).

Thanks for the great list; your list seems to me more complete and realistic than others I have seen.

I have to say that my pick from the list is green technologies. The whole world is trying to become more environmentally friendly, so I think that there will be many opportunities opening up in this field.

I think I would go for social media marketing. Social media are now the most attractive website where you can gain lots of visitors and revenue from your ad networks. Social media like Twitter and Facebook are fast growing social media sites, and anybody can do that as long you are creative and unique on your own business.

Your list of business opportunities for 2010 is a good one. I suggest that local food suppliers, heating products and renovations will be the most significant growth areas. Great opportunities exist for businesses that exist in both click and brick form to provide services to people within a 50 mile radius of their business/farm/workshop premises.
