This post is about a product called the Micro Niche Adsense Course which I stumbled upon after reading a great post on the Warrior Forum.

The post is written by John, who took some time away from all the usual distractions to focus on a very simple, low cost business model.

As a result of some pretty determined effort, he now claims to make $300/day from Adense. That’s a pretty good result in a 6 month period.

I’ve listed the entire post below, along with a link to the original thread in the Warrior forum. The thread was 32 pages long when I last checked and is full of really useful information for anyone looking at niche marketing, irrespective of your experience.

After reading the post I purchased his course. Its a 94 page document which steps you through exactly how he has achieved his $300/day Adsense income.

For me the highlight of the course was his recommendation of a product called Micro Niche Finder to do the keyword research. I already own “Keyword Elite” which does a similar job. However what I really like about Micro Niche finder is the traffic light system it has for pointing out potentially profitable niches.

Let me explain. With Micro Niche Finder you just search a possible topic and the keyword tool throws up about 200 possible keywords. Then you ask it to check the “SOC” of the keywords you are interested in. This shows one of three “traffic lights” against each of the keywords. If the light is green then you have a good candidate. No need to do any calculations, just run your eye down the list and pick out the green ones. Simple; and for me has saved a lot of time over the last few days.

Back to the MicroNiche Adsense Course. As above its a 94 page PDF with step by step instructions showing how John is earning from Adsense.

Topics include:

How to Earn Six Figures With Google Adsense

The Perfect Adsense Niches My Keyword Research Approach

Creating Your Website Content

My Highest Converting Template

Getting Your Site Ranked and Making Money

Growing Your Business

John provides recommendations on a range of tools from website makers, to keyword research, which if you purchased them also, will allow a complete beginner could get going and be productive (and profitable) in very short order.

For me the course has been well worth the investment. It doesn’t contain anything revolutionary and nothing that you cant pick up in bits and pieces on forums etc. But it does bring everything together in one neat package and in a formula which if followed to the letter will bring results. No years of trial and error, just an instant actionable process which has been proven to make money.

Here’s a copy of his original Warrior Forum post:

It’s been 6 months since I’ve posted because I had gotten
Waaaay off track from my initial goals.

I then decided to stay COMPLETELY off all marketing forums,
get back to my passion (Adsense), and implement a new
strategy to my business.

I have changed a lot of my old approaches and my opinions
on specific strategies have changed quite a bit which I’d like
to share a little with you here.

To put it in simple terms… by branching out into dozens of
sites with super-targeted niches, using Google’s keyword tool
instead of wordtracker, and some other specific keyword
approaches.

… My Adsense income has almost tripled to date, reaching well
into the $300+ earnings each day.

Some Lessons Learned:

1) I have seen the light in terms of making more sites instead of
focusing on 1 big one. My health site still does well on its own,
around $100 or so daily, but it takes more maintenance than
my new strategy to go specific with keywords and niche markets.

2) I now focus EVERY website on products that can be found at
Amazon, E-bay, Wal-Mart, etc. This is probably the reason why my
income has exploded. I had no idea just how much open markets
there are in these products.

3) I now shoot only for keywords that I know can get in the top
spots for Google but with enough searches to make money.

4) Some of my most stable earners are sites with less than 30
pages.

5) I now work on 4-5 sites at a time, getting each ranked and earning
natural search engine clicks within a week.

6) Some of my sites only have 1 page of content, yet remain earning
$2 to $3 daily without any upkeep.

7) My content is always about product descriptions.

8) I still use article marketing exclusively, but do not worry about
keywords, nor do I care if my article ranks.

9) Some of my sites rank in the top 5 positions of Google, make money,
and I did no backlinking.

10) I have changed up my template that now gets 50% CTR at times,
often reaching the 75% mark (mainly due to using product-only niches).

- John

This post is about a technique to make $100 per day online.

With economic times being tough across the world there are lots of people looking for a way to make some extra money.

$US100 per day may not sound much, but when you multiply it by 365 days you get about $US36,000.

Better still once you know how to make $100 per day you have to tools to grow it into much more – $1000/day anyone ?

This post started when I saw an interesting post in DP headed up First $100 Day ($117 actually). So being a sucker for this type of title, I looked through the thread to see how the author had been able to do it.

It turns out Jose Armando has been working away for a year in his quest to reach the magic $100/day. Over that time he an his brother have been steadily growing their home business in between attending lectures at college.

There’s a telling quote in the thread ……”I remember writing dozens of articles and not getting a single sale for months.. man was that tough.”

Which reveals a secret to his success. Take a simple system, follow it to the letter and never give-up.

While Jose does not reveal his exact methods it seems he has been using article and pay per click advertising (Adwords etc) promotion as the means to generate traffic to a site with affiliate links. About 40% sales come from Article Marketing and the balance from PPC.

From earlier posts he started out doing article marketing exclusively. In an earlier thread he wrote:

I have to say…. Newbies, keep writing the articles and keep testing different niches.

If I had to say WHY this experiment failed it was because I was in a too saturated niche…

Find a small niche with a product that has 10-30 gravity and do your article marketing there. Don’t go in “make money”, “weight loss” etc niches. It’s just too crowded for someone who just wants to start with this.

Also, if you REALLY want to be successful with bum marketing then make real goals and stick to them for any cost.

Make a goal to write two articles per day for 50 days.. What’s two articles per day? It’s nothing… it’s just 30 minutes… Are you willing to put 30 minutes per day in your dreams, in your goals?
If you just do the 2 articles per day you’ll have 100 articles in less then two months… That’s A LOT of articles. Imagine the traffic you’ll be pulling and the sales you’ll be making.

And once you commit don’t skip a single day.. Don’t let yourself fail yet again. Be consistent – it’s the key to success.

As you’ll start writing articles do 20 articles per niche… If you don’t make a sale after 20 articles then this means you need to find a new niche and start again. Do this over and over again and I guarantee you’ll make a lot of sales in just a few weeks/months.

Recently some more good advice:

Actually I get about 40% sales from article marketing and 60% from PPC. And I want to get to 90%+ sales from PPC in near future.

See, I’m only writing articles for my own product because I think it’s worth to invest time in my own business and have it grow in terms of SEO rankings.

For affiliate products I’m using Adwords and YSM.. Right now I’m just direct linking to affiliate products and it’s converting really well. Most of them have 1:20 or 1:30 conversions so I’m making profits even at $0.3+ CPC.

So how I get products to convert with direct linking?

I pick a product on marketplace, make a subdomain for redirect of my hoplink. Take first 30 keywords for that niche from Adwords Keyword Tool, copy ads from other niches and make them fit my niche. And press ACTIVATE.

Once I find something that consistently converts I’ll buy a .com domain for it and do a split test with:
1. direct linking and what are my profits there
2. review page and what are my profits with it

After about a week I’ll have a pretty good idea which one makes me more money and I’ll just port my campaign to AdWords and pull traffic from there too since I’ll already know that the product converts.

I’ll have yet another product locked down in passive income mode.

Then all you need to do is to do the process again for another product…”

Jose makes reference to “Bum Marketing” a method of making money which costs nothing to start. In essence you just:

Find a product to promote – say from clickbank

Setup a free webpage to promote it from – could be a free blog at blogger.com

Write lots of articles and submit them to the top rated article sites. (All the articles need to unique)

Keep writing articles and adding new products

Over time you will get sales, some products will be real winners (you keep promoting these) and the rest you can discard or onsell the site.

A great thread if your looking for a bit of inspiration or to find a proven and successful way to starting out:

The secrets to Jose’s success? Well, these seem to be the key ingredients:

A system that works

He worked with his brother. Its a bit like running or going to the gym, if you do it with someone else you will help keep each other motivated

He had mentors. When he wrote back in March in the DP forum lots of people offered advice and assistance.

Persistence, persistence , persistence. Jose just kept going and the results came in.

A reader from Indonesia left an interesting comment on our blog a few days ago. Curious I followed up, reading his blog and also a free report which he publishes.

I really liked the style of his writing and some of his notes & comments rang true with my experience.

So I invited Welly to write a little about his Home Business journey and talk alittle about what he has found are the keys to success.

Welly was kind enough to provide an article which is published below in full. Thanks Welly, appreciate you taking the time to put this together for us:

Hey there, my name is Welly Mulia and I first got started in Internet Marketing back in June 2006. Back then I was a complete beginner who didn’t know a thing about IM. And when I say I knew nothing then, I’m being completely honest with you.

So I would buy one ebook or IM course one after another. You know, those that promise you get-rich-quick-schemes or how to get rich overnight just by clicking a few buttons on your mouse.

I am a little embarrassed to say this, but back then I actually believed that I could become a millionaire overnight!

Well, who doesn’t?

With all the hypey sales letters out there, you are bound to get tricked or cheated when you are a complete newbie who doesn’t know what you’re doing.

Anyway to make a long story short, so I bought one ebook after another. Not all of them are get-rich-quick-schemes though. There were a few that contain some real gems.

However, because of information overload, I end up simply reading and studying them without actually implementing what I’ve learned.

Essentially, I’ve become a NALO (no action learn only) guy.

And when you simply read without applying what you’ve learned (even though it may be the best ebook out there in the world), nothing will happen. I can guarantee that!

Like what I’ve said above, the primary reason why I did not implement the methods and techniques taught in the ebooks was because I suffered from information overload.

The more I read the more confused I became. I simply don’t know where to start because there was so much information out there that I don’t know which one to follow.

I’m very sure you can relate to my experience when you just got started in IM. Almost everyone goes through the same bad experience!

I’d hop from one business opportunity to the next, each one promising the next “big thing” where you can earn millions overnight just by joining their programs or buying their ebooks.

As you can probably already guess, all of them were rubbish J.

There was also this period of time that I’ve also been involved in black hat Internet Marketing activities, like mass building portal sites and generating income from Adsense.

Sure, portal sites with Adsense can bring in a decent income every month fast, but they were simply short-term income and have no longevity. I finally realized that this was not the way to build a real, long-term business.

Currently, I’m a full time Internet Marketer focused in building a real long term business that is going to sustain. I’m building a white hat business that provides VALUE to my customers and subscribers.

I currently have 3 IM products, and a fourth one is due to be released within this month. All of them are created this year and all of them are in my native language (Indonesian).

Oh yeah before I forgot, I should mention that I do not live in the US, Canada, UK, nor Australia J. I reside in a country called Indonesia, somewhere in the Asia Pacific region.

Having been involved in the IM niche for my local Indonesian market for the past few months, I’m currently set to enter the international IM market as well.

I currently enjoy a consistent, decent four-figure online income every month. It’s not a lot, and it’s far from those high profile Internet Marketers make out there, but it pays for my bills and I do get to live a decent life J.

But truth be told, the journey to get to where I am now (let alone those high profile Internet Marketers) is not easy.

Heck, it’s actually HARD!

I’m trying to be as honest as I can here, so please remember that if someone or some “guru” tells you that it’s easy to earn lots of money online, they are lying to you so that you buy their ebooks or courses.

If making money online were that easy, why is it that most people (probably 99% – just a guess here) fail to earn a single red cent when they try their hands at Internet Marketing?

Or if they actually did make any money at all, the amount is usually meager and the income is most likely inconsistent.

There are actually 5 reasons why most people fail to earn any money online.

Having been involved in the Internet Marketing niche for 2 years and 4 months now, I have made a lot of mistakes and in the process learned a lot from these mistakes as well.

In my opinion, the best teacher is to make mistakes and then learn from them.

To sum up, I’d like to you give 6 tips and pointers on how you can succeed in making money online:

1. Making money online is HARD

First things first. You need to put this in your mind first.

Making money online is never easy. In fact, I want to be honest and up front with you: Making money online is damn HARD!

Hard but not impossible.

It will take you hard work and time to make good money online. There is no such thing as overnight success simply by doing nothing.

Cripes, that only happens in your dream and Disneyland! (please note that I don’t have anything against Disneyland, I’m just trying to make a point here).

2. Focus on 1 thing at a time

I know there is a lot of information out there to be consumed, but the thing is, you don’t have to consume all of them at once.

If you’re learning a specific skill, say how to build a WordPress blog, then you should focus your time and effort on learning that specific skill. Don’t be distracted by other non-related ebooks or courses that talk about Adwords, Adsense, how to JV with others, social bookmarking strategies, etc.

Only when you have successfully built a WordPress blog, and only when you have become familiar on working with a WordPress blog, should you move on to other skills or areas.

It’s a lot better to be really good at 1 skill, than to be average at 10 skills.

3. Focus on the things that you are good at

Do you know that to build a profitable business online, you don’t have to know everything about Internet Marketing?

Take for example myself.

I don’t know everything there is to know about IM. If I say I knew everything, I’d be lying to you.

I just know what needs to be done and if I’m not good at doing certain things, like SEO, I simply find someone or some kind of SEO services to do SEO work for my sites so they rank well in the search engines. If I know nothing about programming, I’d find a programmer.

Focus on the areas where you are good at, and outsource other areas or skills that you are bad at.

4. Focus on the things that matter the most to your business
When you are just getting started in Internet Marketing, chances are you probably don’t have a lot of money to spend to outsource tasks to other people.

That is perfectly fine. You just need to analyze your current business position, and find out which tasks are more important than others, and do those more important tasks first.

Not all tasks are created equal. The Pareto Principle holds true in your online business.

20% of your efforts will determine 80% of your results, and the reverse is true as well. 80% of your efforts will determine 20% of your results.

Your duty is to find out the 20% that will produce the 80%, and then work like mad on that 20%.

5. Build beneficial relationships with your list

If you want to build a real, sustainable long-term business, you must build a list.

There was a saying that goes like this “The size of your list is directly proportional to your online income”.

I strongly disagree.

In my opinion: “The relationship you build with your list is directly proportional to your online income”.

To be able to sell products and services to other people, you MUST build beneficial and trusting relationships with them first.

Sure, you may get a few sales here and there even without building good relationships with your prospects, but these sales are inconsistent and short-term.

If you want to have consistent sales coming in, you must build beneficial relationships with your subscribers so that they trust you and see you as an expert in your field.

If you want to find out how you can create beneficial relationships with your list, you can see an article I’ve written: Give And Create Value First, Receive Second.

6. Never, ever, give up

When things don’t go the way you expected, especially when you have invested countless time and effort but the results are disappointing, it’s normal to be discouraged.

But whatever you do, do not ever give up, EVER!

These are just temporary setbacks that you have to undergo if you want to be successful.

Let me rephrase that for you just in case you don’t see what I’m trying to convey. Read this very carefully:

In order to succeed, you MUST fail first!

If you give up simply because you have met a temporary setback (which you may not be aware that the setback is actually temporary), then you’d always be going in circles where you’d be hopping from “next big thing A” to “next big thing B” to “next big thing Z”.

1 year, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years later you will still be in the same position as you are now.

You have gone nowhere.

So please, just evaluate your actions and figure out why it’s not working for you yet, and just keep going and don’t ever give up.

If you like what I’ve written, chances are you’ll also like my FREE Report “Your First 100 Dollars Online”. This is a 37 page zero-hype report that shows you how you can make your first 100 dollars online. You can get it for FREE. No email required J.

Toy Rental home business. You can create a business from everyday items at home.

Don’t believe me -then pick a topic – lets say toys. Youv’e got lots, why not rent them out. No money in it you say. Well maybe, maybe not.

This post is about Lori Pope. She has infant twin sons and bought the best toys for them over the internet.

Then she had an idea. Why not rent them out to other moms.

Renting hand bags, video games and movies is pretty common why not toys ?

This idea grew into a website called Baby Plays. Its customers browse the site for over 200 toys for newborns through to preschoolers. A list of desired toys is built and Pope’s staff ship them to the young ones.

This is a business which started with 10 customers, sending out toys from a spare office and grew to where it is today with about 200 customers nationwide.

Lori has had to throw some money at the business to get it up an running but she expects it to be profitable this year.

This is a great story. Not for the money she is making and the business that has been built-up. But for Lori’s foresight to use the knowledge and skill she already has as a mom, turning a common home item into a profitable business.

A few days ago I saw an article at AmericanChronicale.com by Cynthia Minnaar. Like me Cynthia lives a long way from the US and has experience with the Plug-in Profit site .

I wrote to Cynthia asking if she would write a little about her on-line marketing experience. She very kindly accepted.

Cynthia’s blog is here – please take time to pay a visit.

Here is Cynthia’s story………

Before I relate my experience of building an online home business, I feel it is so important at the outset to stress the fact that it takes time, patience, determination and a willingness to learn.

I am certain that the reason so many people get totally disappointed and disillusioned is because their expectations are far too high and they quit within the first couple of weeks or months when they have not made any money.

This is understandable because when we start an online home business we do so for the purpose of making money. Plus we expect to make money immediately. Unfortunately, it does not work like that – you have to go through the business building process before making money.

I started my online home business on the 28th April 2006. This was not my first attempt as I had previously joined many programs and wasted money because I had expected to make money quickly. Every program I joined required that I market my referral link and this was where I was failing. I realize now that I actually had no idea what internet marketing was all about and, I believe, it is the key to building a successful online business.

My current online home business started when I joined the Plug-in Profit Site Program (PIPS) where you not only get a fully automated website setup with 5 or 6 affiliate programs, but you can choose your own domain name plus you receive a comprehensive 30 days to success Internet Income Training guide.

The training guide taught me all about internet marketing and with the support of the other members in the forum I came to realize what it would actually take to build a successful online business and that it was going to take time.

I got to work and I have used the absolute minimal of funds to build the business to where it is today, (June 2007). I paid my monthly hosting account, auto-responder and two pro memberships to the affiliate programs. I do not buy any advertising or traffic.

I had no knowledge of html but through trial and error I have learnt. This was a vital step I had to take early on in order to be able to optimize my site for the search engines as well as make it look different from the other PIPS sites.

After optimizing my site I learnt how important it was to start building back links to my website in order for it to appear on the first page of Google for organic searches.

To build those thousands of back links I have used 3 methods. The main one being article marketing. I had not had any previous experience of writing articles, but I learnt to optimize my articles with keywords from my website and link my main keywords to my site in the author’s resource box. I do not purchase articles at all. I write 2 – 3 a week and submit them manually to high PR article directories, about 50 in all.

The second method I use to build back links is by submitting my website to the web directories and exchanging links with other sites. I did purchase the Link Machine to make life a bit easier when it came to link exchanging.

The third method I have used is Forum posting.

Building back links and making your presence felt on the internet is what takes the time and this is where patience and determination is needed. You can check your back links daily and if they are increasing then you know you are on the right track.

It has taken months to build the business to the point that my website now appears on the 1st and 2nd pages of Google for many keywords and a lot of my articles appear in the same positions. My back links increase daily and visitors to my site have reached 1000/day this month (June 2007).

I have added some other programs to my site, added many pages of mainly my own content (the site started as a single page) and I have recently upgraded to Pro in the other affiliate programs. I kept my expenses to an absolute minimum and I waited until the money started to come in before upgrading.

That is how I have built my online home business so far and I will continue to use the same 3 highly effective internet marketing methods. It has not been all plain sailing. I have been dropped from the Google organic search for certain keyword phrases, but then I just write another article with the same keyword phrase and my site reappears again! Treat each setback as a challenge and this way you will learn more and become more motivated and determined.

Once the site does appear on the 1st page of Google for a variety of keywords, the hardest part is sticking at it until you attract enough visitors daily to make sales or signups. Who really knows what that magic figure is? For my site it took between 500 and 600 a day. To increase it I write more articles, create more web pages and optimize them for different keywords plus continue submitting the site to web directories and exchanging links with other relevant sites.

But the most exciting part now is that you know how you got this far and so you must just keep doing what you have been doing and NEVER QUIT.

Everyone needs a bit for inspiration for their home based business. So over the next few posts I have asked some successful online business owners to share their experience.

In this post, Leslie Truex [AKA The Pajama Mama] kindly accepted my invitation to write a little about her work at home journey.

Please make a point of visiting her site and having a look around.

And now…….Leslie’s online marketing story

My work-at-home journey isn’t so different from most others. I wanted the flexibility and freedom that comes with working at home, and set out to make it happen. I really feel that the difference between my success and others who don’t succeed is that I never stopped trying, I didn’t quit.

Like many people I struggled to find just the right work-at-home opportunity, I fell for scams, and I suffered failure and
disappointment. For example, I had wanted to run a scholarship matching service as I thought it would fit my background in school social work and guidance. I paid $500 for a franchise that went out of business less than a month after I bought my kit. I joined a couple of MLM’s, but found I didn’t like setting up and doing home parties. I started a typing business, but one customer wasn’t going to help me pay the rent.

But I kept at it. I contacted agencies in an industry I enjoyed working in (adoption) and asked if they needed a worker in my area. That led to a telecommuting position as a social worker. As the Internet grew, I took advantage of jobs posted online by companies, which led to work in writing, research, and customer services. I started Work At Home Success to journal what I had learned about working at home (it was an early blog). Over the last 9 ½ years, the site has grown to be a well-respected work-at-home resource on the net. As things like advertising, affiliate programs and contextual ad programs grew, I took advantage of them so that now my little hobby is a business. The trick for me to was to always to open to opportunities; looking for them, researching them, and pursuing them without giving up at the first sign of failure or disappointment.

Today my work-at-home income is diverse. I still telecommute part-time as a social worker and manage several mom and work-at-home related websites. I have a home business (MLM) that I can run primarily online (its my retirement plan) and I have a book that my agent is currently shopping to several publishers.

Even though I have found success working at home, I am still open to new and different options. My current projects involve an ebook, freelance writing for magazines, and even pursuing fiction writing.

I receive email all the time asking me how to work at home. I think its important for people to know that there is no one best work-at-home option, and you’ll spin your wheels and even get scammed looking for the best, fastest money maker. Success comes from having a plan and sticking to it.

Here ‘s my advice for work-at-home wannabes:

Focus on what you’re good at, are interested in or are passionate about.

Research if it’s legit. Research if it’s viable. Research if it’s something you can commit to over the long haul.

Make a plan

Implement the plan. Do something every day that moves you toward your goal.

Never, ever quit.

If you have any interest in starting or expanding your own empire, have a read of a couple of posts by Brian Lee over at Genius Types about how he started and then expanded his bulk candy vending business.

This is a business any-one can get in to. Through the two posts Brian lays the essentials for success both from a financial and from an organizational perspective.

There are parallels with starting any home based business too. Brian has taken time to learn the business, starting slow. He made a small investment, got it working then looked to move up-scale. Having mastered the basics he knew enough to spot a good opportunity then go after it aggressively thereby expanding his home business.

You don’t have to pay huge bucks to develop a reasonable income. Just takes time, knowledge and persistance. Start small, and re-invest your profits to grow will take a lot of risk out of any start-up.

This post is about John Chows’ money making blog.

John is a well known and successful internet marketer who began a blog back in December 2005.

Prior to that, John was partner in a print shop before taking a change of direction. In April 1999 he started a technology site call The TechZone. Techzone had over 10,000 pages and got over 200,000 page views per day by 2005.

John recently provided an update on progress with his blog. The results give some insight as to what can be achieved and what the potential is for this type of home business.

In summary the blog made just under $3,500 in January. Revenue broken down as follows:

Direct Ad Sales: $750.00

Text Links Ads: $621.68

Affiliate Sales: $545.00

Google AdSense: $536.58

Vibrant IntelliTXT: $478.18

TTZ Media: $183.54

FeedBurner Ads: $175.68

ReviewMe: $150.00

Grand Total: $3,440.66

Blog traffic for January was 255,574 page views from 133,871 unique visitors.

Johns post is worth reading. He outlines recent changes which have included selling links and banners. This move is a deliberate one to diversify the revenue stream, ensuring there is not too much reliance on any one source of income.

Something that isn’t mentioned in his post. John is able to generate a huge amount of traffic to his blog. While this doesn’t seem to be high converting, traffic is a key indicator of what banner and text links are worth.

Once you get your traffic high enough then you can generate a significant, steady income from sales of advertising space. This is a better “quality” income than Adsense where the revenue fluctuates by the day and there is the ever present threat of loss of account.

If you have any interest in blogging I recommend you read Johns post. Your can find it here

There are a couple of noteworthy posts at Problogger.net and Repliqa about a young blogger called David Wilkinson.

David and two friends teamed up to start a blog called Techzie. Nothing unusual in that except David is only twelve and his friends are of a similar age.

He also guest authors for a number of other online publications.

I started in July of 2006, just as a hobby, a way of expressing my views and making them known. The idea came to me while I was weeding my back garden funnily enough. I thought that as a kid, people might want to see technology, gadgets, and the interview from my perspective.

Seems the blog has gone through a number of refinements to the point where after six months when asked:

Are you making any money blogging?

Yes, quite a bit actually. I could definitely live off $500 a month until I turn 14, by which time I aim to be earning more, by experimenting in Internet Marketing.

Check out the two posts. They show that with the right attitude, a bit of planning and a determination to succeed anyone can be profitable blogging.
