I have found it to be quite easy to participate in eBay flipping. The easiest way to do it is find something that someone didn’t list very well so it appears to be unattractive. Then you do a wonderful listing of the same product. I usually use “Buy It Nows” on the flip sale to ensure a profit.

I think there are definitely opportunities in doing this if you put the time in— the market is potentially just so huge, right? Plus, lots of people won’t do it because they think it’s just too much work.

Hey!! I gave up on the Ebay idea as i found i was about 10 years to late to get any edge!! Tried Drophippers, Wholesalers etc and just cudnt find prices good enough to compete!! Tho Esources.com and Salehoo.com are gd place to start if anyones interested!?!

Ive started buyin/sellin websites!! (I dnt like the word Flipping!) and its paid off!!! I sold my 1st website to Hewlett Packard HP for $4500!!! :-) Im buildin up my 2nd site now, a PR2 Link Directory @ Any1in!! Bought it for £200, gna sell it for £1000 when i get it to PR4/5 :-)

Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I really don’t see any morality issues here. People who put their time and effort into selling something shouldn’t be demonized for making a larger %.

My only thoughts would to be somehow to automate the process, and then scale it. This would be the key to producing some serious income.

Thinking along the lines of some sort of tool that can track various bargains on the internet, purchase, post on ebay all in one automated process..

Now that would be cool.

If you can find good buys it could be worth it. If were to buy in bulk and then resell you could make a profit. I expect shipping cost to rise with the price of fuel so this may not be as practical as in the past.

Yeah, Ive done some “flipping” of my own. Ive bought things on the clearance rack at walmart and have actually made some decent money from it. But I would agree that it is no way to make a full time living from.
