Dominiche is a service from Ed Dale which teaches you how to buy a website.

Now you don’t need to buy the product and you don’t need to spend a lot of time there, but the videos at this location are well worth viewing.

They cover the very basics of pricing a website for purchase, including both the earnings multiplier and pay per click pricing.

A little while ago WordPress 2.3 came out, so I decided to attempt the Wordpress 2.3 upgrade on a few of my blogs.

There are a number of features I wanted to try out and we have a policy of always keeping to the latest version.

With this release there are also a number of new features that looked interesting including:

  • Tagging support which allows tags as well as categories to be allocated to posts.
  • Upgrade notification of plugin and Wordpress upgrades. Not so worried about WordPress as this is well publicised but getting notified about plugin upgrades is really useful
  • URLs have been tweaked to make them cleaner for search engines
  • WYSIWYG editor has more features.

It’s well known that a site which gathers links too quickly can be penalised by search engines – but what about sitewide links ?

Are they just discounted to count as one link by search engines or is the effect more significant ?

Well over the last month we conducted a small experiment with a couple of sites.
