It’s well known that a site which gathers links too quickly can be penalised by search engines – but what about sitewide links ?
Are they just discounted to count as one link by search engines or is the effect more significant ?
Well over the last month we conducted a small experiment with a couple of sites.

BlogRush is a new blog “widget” you can use to generate additional traffic to your blog.
The concept is pretty simple:
- First place the BlogRush widget on your Blog.
- For every time your blog page is viewed you get one credit.
- For each credit, you get your link appearing on someone else’s blog.

Creating a free Zlio shop might be a way to add another revenue stream.
Zlio is a French company who provide a way of creating an online shop for free. Very similar to an Amazon shop but from what I can see it has a few advantages:
- A bit easier to set-up
- The layout is less cluttered
- Offers Adsense revenue sharing
- Pays commission on your referral’s income
