Send Out Cards
Send Out Cards is one of the Multilevel Marketing opportunities mentioned in the “Free Guide to 11 Top Businesses” at Smart Moms – Smart Business.
In the guide each of the smart moms talks about a business they run and walks through why it works for them.
At its core Send Out Cards is a pretty simple business model. You go to their website, select a card, add a message and Send Out Cards do the rest. They print the card, pop it in an envelope and mail it off for you.
To use the system, you need to register and prepay for a number of cards. Then it’s just a matter of sending off a card when-ever your like.
You can also get a piece of this business. There is the option to become a distributor in their multi-level marketing program. This allows you to benefit from the residual income of repeat orders, get paid to train as well as incentives for sales you make.
There is a fee to become a distributor, $99, which provides you with a presentation folder and your own website. It also includes order processing, and credit card processing. You also receive product samples, instructions and policies and procedures. Smart Moms suggest though, that you really need $300 to $500 to get started.
The Send Out Cards opportunity feels like it could be a good option for a wide cross section of Americans and Canadians looking for a home business opportunity.
The Smart Moms provided some of the reasons they chose this program as follows:
- Product of value – we would use and recommend SendOutCards even if there wasn’t an income opportunity
- Strong company leadership and vision – positioned for growth
- Growth potential for the individual distributor – less than 1,000 distributors in most of the highly populated states/provinces, and in many states/provinces the number of distributors was still in the single or double-digits as of April 2007
- In business more than 3 years – the first few years of a company usually have a lot of transition and changes – many don’t survive. You don’t want to start building a business only to have the company go out of business.
- Not a lot of product knowledge necessary – simple product
- Uniqueness of product – no other service that has all the unique tools & features in SendOutCards, cards costs more, and they don’t have an income opportunity
- Target Market & Niche Markets – SendOutCards has a broad target market, but also has lots of niche markets. distributors who know those markets well can reach – real estate, chiropractors, mortgage brokers, car dealers, network marketers, busy moms, home-schoolers, etc.
- Truly work at home – no parties or outside activity – unless you choose
- Compensated for efforts when first starting – 3- 4 wholesale customers or entrepreneurs pays startup cost
- A fair compensation plan which rewards the person actually bringing in the business at a higher rate, but still provides the leverage, advantages of building a team, and residual income.
- Lack of hype – on corporate site and Treat’em Right Seminars. We feel there is too much hype out there and have a low tolerance for it
- Corporate site provides lots of information for the potential business partner or customer to make an informed decision.
- Corporate staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service.
Looking at the income opportunity its expected that if you follow the training and put it into action, then a full time income can be achieved in 2-5 years.
When someone starting out brings in 2-5 new customers/distributors, they earn, on average, $200-600 from their own efforts – that doesn’t include residual income, group volume commission or bonus increases

nice article i will take note of your comments
Nice article, but it the program sounds kind of ’scammy.’
SendOutCards has been a phenomenal business for me and my clients who are already home-based businesses.
Although I enrolled primarily to use the program as a customer retention tool and referral strategy, it quickly became a healthy added income stream — as soon as my clients and colleagues learned about it, they wanted to enjoy the benefits as well and quickly signed on.
I highly recommend SendOutCards as a leveraging tool for business owners, and a simple and rewarding business opportunity for anyone looking to start a home business.
